Direct OEM-specification replacement for the 4-pin waterproof wire harness connector used on ignition coils and generators (alternators) across Mitsubishi and BYD platforms. The 4-pin ignition coil connector on Mitsubishi Outlander and EVO X is located on the valve cover in a high-heat, high-vibration zone. On the EVO X (4B11 engine), the coil connector is exposed to heat soak from the turbocharged engine, causing the nylon housing to become brittle and the locking tab to fracture. A failed connector causes a cylinder misfire (P0300–P0304) and rough running. As a generator connector, a failed connection causes charging system failure (battery warning light, low voltage). The BYD F3 uses the same connector family on its ignition coil harness.
